Bollettino SPI

The Bollettino della Società Paleontologica Italiana is an international peer reviewed journal established by Eugenia Montanaro Gallitelli in 1960. Contributions of international interest in the fields of palaeontology and stratigraphy are published. The journal is housed at the Dipartimento di Scienze della Terra, University of Modena, largo S. Eufemia 19, I-41121 Modena. The Bollettino della Società Paleontologica Italiana (ISSN 0375-7633) joined the ISI (Institute for Scientific Information) circuit in 2008, and has been assigned an Impact Factor of 0.659 in June 2011. Contributions may vary from research articles dealing with research results in areas of interest of the journal, to brief research notes. Extensive articles may be occasionally published upon acceptance by the Editorial Staff and the President of the Society. For instructions on manuscript and figure preparation, please refer to the notes for authors and send to the Editorial Secretary.

PaleoItalia
Paleoitalia

Paleoitalia is a newsletter in Italian, which, while still rigorously scientific in its content, is directed mainly at members who are not part of the academic world. Apart from more general articles, it contains presentation of museums of paleontology, descriptions of sites and itineraries, conference reports, summaries (abstracts) of doctoral theses. There are also columns dedicated to books, paleontology on the internet, miscellaneous notices, and announcements of conferences, exhibitions, and seminars. Since 2011 Paleoitalia has been substituted by the contents, maps and photos of the new portal paleoitalia.org.

Reports
Rendiconti

The Rendiconti (Reports) of the Italian Paleontological Society are a series of volumes published to mark congresses, conferences and excursions organized by the Society and by other institutions patronized by the IPS. By their very nature, the Reports do not appear regularly
